Inauguration of the School Infirmary
On Wednesday January 31, 2024 at 8 a.m., the new infirmary of Centre Scolaire St Marcellin Champagnat Bouaké was inaugurated in a ceremony chaired by the Director of the School, Br Germain Beda. The event witnessed the presence of Father Innocent Kouadio, vicar of the parish of Ste Marie Zone, the Marist Brothers, the teaching and non-teaching staff, a few parents, students as well as some nearby residents invited for the occasion.
It is of utmost importance to acknowledge that this health infrastructure is the result of a collaboration between the Marist Brothers of Côte d'Ivoire and our benevolent donors including the CONFERENZA EPISCOPALE ITALIANA and the Fondazione Marista per la Solidarietà Internazionale Onlus (FMSI). The school infirmary offers it services not only for the care of our students and staff, but also to the surrounding populations, therefore contributing to their well-being.
The inauguration speech was delivered by Br Germain Beda who thanked all the guests for their presence at the ceremony. He also expressed his gratitude to the various donors who supported and accompanied them in this process without forgetting all those who participated in its construction. Br Germain did not fail to emphasize that this infirmary is open to all and equipped with appropriate equipment for basic first aid and elementary treatment.
After the inauguration speech, Father Innocent Kouadio, proceeded to bless the new infirmary and invoke God’s healing mercy on all who will visit it. The inauguration ceremony ended with a guided tour of the infirmary premises and those present were able to witness the wonderful infrastructure in place.
Inauguration de l’Infirmerie Scolaire
Le mercredi 31 janvier 2024 à 8 heures a eu lieu la cérémonie d’inauguration de la nouvelle infirmerie du Centre Scolaire St Marcellin Champagnat de Bouaké. Présidée par le Directeur du Centre Scolaire le Fr Germain Beda, cette cérémonie a marqué la présence de l’Abbé Innocent Kouadio, vicaire de la paroisse Ste Marie de la Zone, les Frères Maristes, le personnel enseignant et non enseignant, les parents d’élèves, les élèves ainsi que quelques riverains invités pour la circonstance.
Ainsi, il est important de signifier que cette infrastructure sanitaire est le fruit d’une collaboration entre les Frères Maristes de la Côte d’Ivoire et de bienveillants donateurs dont la CONFERENZA EPISCOPALE ITALIANA et la Fondazione Marista per la Solidarietà Internazionale Onlus (FMSI). L’objectif visé à travers la construction de ce joyau est de permettre non seulement d’offrir des soins adéquats aux élèves et au personnel du centre, mais aussi d’offrir des prestations médicales aux populations environnantes concourant par conséquent à leur bien-être.
Le discours d’inauguration a été prononcé par le Fr Germain Beda, directeur du centre scolaire St Marcellin Champagnat de Bouaké, qui dans son adresse a remercié tous les invités pour leur présence à cette cérémonie d’inauguration. Il a également exprimé sa reconnaissance aux différents donateurs qui ont bien voulu les soutenir et les accompagner dans cette démarche sans oublier tous les acteurs qui ont contribué au processus de construction. Fr Germain n’a pas manqué de souligner que cette infirmerie est ouverte à tous et dotée d’équipements appropriés pour divers soins.
En outre, à la suite du discours du directeur, l’Abbé Innocent Kouadio, Vicaire de la paroisse Ste Marie de la zone a procédé à la bénédiction de l’édifice suivie d’une prière.
Cette cérémonie d’inauguration a été clôturée par une visite guidée des locaux de l’infirmerie. Les visiteurs ont pu observer le matériel dont elle dispose à savoir du matériel de soin nécessaire aux consultations et des premiers soins.
